About Me

My name is Abby Bester. I have been working with special FX makeup since 2017 and beauty makeup since 2020.  I love making monsters, fake wounds, and characters come to life. 

 I have done workshops & classes in Chicago & Atlanta & graduated from Paul Mitchell’s esthetician program in 2020 I completed MUD Makeup Designory's Master Makeup Program in NYC in January of 2022.

 I am currently working towards my Art BA with a focus in Sculpture at Kennesaw State University.

I have done makeup for short films and student films as well as photoshoots that range from natural beauty to colorful Avante-Garde 

I have also done a few jobs for NYFW in NYC and Six Flags Fright Fest in Atlanta.

When doing special FX, I work with a lot of 3rd degree (silicone) and all kinds of prosthetics but there are a few pictures on here using products such as latex & scar wax. I am also skilled in hand-laying hair, bald caps, old-age makeup, and more.
