About Me

My name is Abby Bester. I have been working with special FX makeup since 2017 and beauty makeup since 2020.  I love making monsters, fake wounds, and characters come to life. 

 I have done workshops & classes in Chicago & Atlanta & graduated from Paul Mitchell’s esthetician program in 2020 I completed MUD Makeup Designory's Master Makeup Program in NYC in January of 2022.

I've recently been doing makeup for short films and student films as well as photoshoots that range from natural beauty to colorful Avante-Garde 

I have also done a few jobs for NYFW in NYC 

When doing special FX, I work with a lot of 3rd degree (silicone) and all kinds of prosthetics but there are a few pictures on here using products such as latex & scar wax. I am also skilled in hand-laying hair, bald caps, old-age makeup, and more.
